I cant tell you how much I love this book. I have, in the past 3 years, read this twice and still I find myself going back to it. The intertwined stories of people in the Second World War and the way the book connects these people at the end is absolutely masterful. in the backdrop of WWII and the travails of a Blind girl in Paris, its both heart wrenching and elevating to read about the indomitable human spirit in face of adversity.
Historical fiction and particularly, fiction in the backdrop of World War II is my most favourite genre and this book does not disappoint.
I will highly recommend this book.
