The War of Art by Steven Pressfield

What every artist fights with is Resistance. Thats the real enemy within us and its often labeled as laziness, self doubt, procrastination, having no time, being too busy and so on. In this book, Steven Pressfield gives some amazing pointers on how to move ahead when Resistence strikes us and stops us from doing what we are meant to do. Whether its writing a book or creating an art or composing music, each artist needs to get a handle on the everyday and move one step towards the final goal.

I found this book particularly inspiring. The simple tip that every artist/writer/creator just needs to get up every morning and keep doing that one thing that will take her/him to the final goal, surprising simple sounding, gave me a lot of courage and hope.

So, if you are one of those people who are stuck, who are creating a variety of excuses everyday that keep you from reaching your goal, this is the book for you.
